Pretty much the only outlet for video news from France (public channel being stuck with national only diffusion rights), "it just works"! Direct works fine as long as you have good WiFi connection.

Im glad this is working in USA. At least we get world news and not neighboring state news.

I wrote a real review but the nickname was taken so it threw away my review. On the whole, this app is great.

One of the best out there if you are interested in French, European and world news and all that on top of which in French The only downfall is that the sports section is very often totally outdated

The app provides a very good connection to the 24 hour French news channel. Provides a good live link and short recent video clips that are well organized.

Live stream doesnt work anymore , dont know why but it is now a waste of space on device , will be removed

This was a great place to watch live French TV news in French until it stopped working about a month ago. The app needs a fix asap badly or replacement. Not worth downloading. Until improvement made, it is not worth the space on your device. Oubliez!

Look. This is an app made for the biggest news network in France. It’s worth billions. And they can’t make an app that doesn’t cut your replay every time they pop a notification? You can’t even select a past replay because it will play the most recent replay sound track at the same time. I’ve never seen an app so full of bugs. And it’s been like that for months without a fix. It’s unbelievable.

Je vous regarde le plus souvent possible étant expatrié aux USA. La seule chaîne d’infos et un grand bravo à Pascal Praud…

L’option « Le direct » ne fonctionne plus depuis plusieurs semaines : écran noir. J’ai effacé l’application puis redémarré. Pareil. Même problème.

L’app fonctionnait parfaitement sur mon iPhone et sur mon iPad, mais malheureusement le direct ne fonctionne plus, l’écran reste noir. Je vais donc sur le site internet mais je ne peux plus passer par l’application. Cela fait plus d’un mois, c’est vraiment dommage. J’ai beau supprimer puis ré-installer l’appl, le direct ne fonctionne plus.

Le contenu est intéressant et c’est pour ça que l’on vient mais les nombreux bugs, la perte du flux et le non support du Picture in Picture sont sidérants. Pire le site web supporte le Picture in Picture mais pas l’application c’est dire …. Quand est-ce que CNews va recruter de vrais développeurs ?

La mauvaise qualité du direct est incompréhensible si on compare à LCI ou BFM (même WiFi). Need to improve quality of live compared to competition LCI or BFM

Cette version marche très bien aux États Unis maintenant. Merci beaucoup! Prior version was very unstable and finally stopped working. This new version seems flawless. 31 Dec 2020, En Direct ne marche plus depuis quelque mois sur iPad et sur iPhone. 17 Jan 2021: En Direct ne marche encore plus.

The video playback and live tv don’t work anymore. I wish there was a no “star” rating option. It used to work very well but it has not worked me for a long time. Quelle honte!

CNEWS For improving French - love this app! The news readers have excellent enunciation and the combination of visuals with brief descriptions makes it relatively easy to understand. The vignettes are also short enough to not feel like a burden. And there are lots of these "shorts". Merci ! Oh, and thanks for not plugging up the app with ads!

J'habite depuis peu aux US et cette appli, me permettre de suivre l'actualité française et internationale. Information qui n'est pas possible de recevoir sur les chaînes classiques américaines. Bravo pour ITélé êt téléchargé la sans Problème.
